The ones that cost between 10,000 to 17,000? Bearing in mind they don't even get the latest watchOS anymore so have been obsolete after just a few years.

I've had a look online and cant find any of them. What a complete waste of money that would have been.

Anyone manage to find the going rate for one?

I read an article about a year back or so, and I believe the first GEN Edition watches were fetching somewhere between ~5K-8K. It’s probably significantly less now, being not supported through watchOS anymore and newer models have superseded that. Personally, I would just go to a jewelry store and sell the casing alone, which is the only factor that’s worth money.

It would be interesting to interview a good sample of the ones who did buy one. Not sure how it would/could be done but ask if they have any regrets purchasing something that has lost so much value and is basically obsolete. My thinking says that most wouldn’t really care because having that kind of disposable income means there is less emotional attachment to the long term value of a purchase.
Many on this forum can’t justify to cost of buying a SS Apple Watch vs aluminum. Spending more than 10x the price of a current edition would be rationalizing your spending on a whole other level of consciousness.

My guess is Apple has sold very few Edition gold watches. They have probably given a lot to "stars" to show the watch ...
Every one knew that these apple watch would be obsolete in couple of years and only very rich people who don't care about money can spend so much in such product
