Do you think people are paying to much for iPhones now? Also do you think when the next generation comes out, 3g people will pay ridiculous amounts of money for them...like similar to what happened when Xbox 360 came out and they were being purchased for 1000s over the price.
:apple:

right now i think people are paying too much for iphone's. have you seen some of the prices on ebay?
anyways, regarding how much would I pay for a 3G phone, i would pay $600. I am hoping that get's me 32GB.

400(16GB) and 500(32GB)

i don't see why they won't keep the price points the same, with increased storage. just drop down the touch prices or replace the 8GB model with a 64GB model and keep the price points.

Are there chips out there to support upgrading the ipod touch to 64gb, is there room in the new iphone for 3 cards? i don't know. dropping the price on a touch means dropping the price on everything, apple is getting dangerously close to have their products hit the same price points, it already happened with the ipods. I'm sure apple has something crafty up their sleeve that will make everyone happy, and then something slightly better 8 months later thats even better, repeat cycle...

Well, I've budgeted $400 for one (the cheaper one, don't need a lot of space myself)...and I'll also have to pay an ETF from my current provider :( I doubt they'll raise the price any, but if they do, I could pay a little more, but I wouldn't be able to get one at launch...

Of course, if that rumored $200 (with subsidy) pricetag from AT&T turns out true, I'm definitely jumping on that, as a new AT&T customer I'd get it.

500 or 600 US dollars when i come to the USA is what i will be willing to spend if its 32gb... 650 at the most..

400 dollars for the 16 gb, 3G would be one awesome deal. Also if it had GPS I would pay up to 600 for it. I use the locate me feature at least once a day. Also, turn by turn would be sweet.

do you guys think that there could be a possiblity that they could come with solar powered recharge ability? or is it still too early for that?

If so I'd pay extra for that.

don't see them changing the price point...so $400. but if it has a camera in the front i would go as high as $500. im selling my current iphone for $400, so it wouldn't hurt that bad.

I really don't think the prices will change. I think they'll either be the same storage for the same price, or (what they usually do with iPods) more storage for the same price. But I don't think they're going to make the prices any higher.

...At least I sure hope not. I just sold my used 8GB iPhone for $375, and that's going to pay for MOST of the next iPhone.

I would expect the price points to stay right where they are... but what about the data plans?

How much would you pay for unlimited, 3G data? I bet the 3G plan is going to be $39, but not less than $29 seeing as the iPhone plan is currently $19.

I thought AT&T capped "unlimited" at 5GB?

I really can't go above $500

I just can't do that again unless I get money for my original iPhone

I got a budget I can NOT go over and I stayed in some weeks to get this iPhone

Budget baby! My welcome to the real world of life post-college and work:D
