I have a late 2008 Unibody MacBook Pro.
    2.53 GHz Intel C2D
    8 GB RAM
    320 GB 5400 RPM HDD
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
    SuperDrive does not work! :(

I would sell it with Lion, and can provide all original CDs, as well as a charger.
The computer also has a very healthy battery.

I have never sold a computer before (mostly because this is the first computer that has lasted me more than a year), so I don't really know how to price it.

Also, should I replace the SuperDrive before I sell it or let the buyer know they need to replace it?

Looks like new, save for a few minor scratches on the bottom cover...

    Thanks for your help!

Check Mac2Sell, eBay, or Amazon for prices of equivalent models, to get an idea of what you may be able to charge.

I'd say between around $600 without a working Superdrive..

I did, and that's why I got so confused.

Mac2Sell said $700 with a working superdrive, Amazon and eBay vary from $900 to $1800.

Has anyone bought/sold one similar to this recently?

Well I'm selling it, so I'd prefer if someone else paid that much... :p

You checked the completed listings on eBay, right?

I agree with around 600-650$ as a good price point.
