a 128 GB 6S with Apple warranty until 10/17 that's in fair condition:

Some dings in the edges (back area). Light scratching on screen. The type of scratches that disappear after the device is turned on. No spots on screen or cracks.

From the pictures, the phone seems to be in decent shape... but you never know until you see it in person. I can return it if I don't like it. Phone is clean and paid off.

How much would you pay?

Thanks

seller is asking for $375. Too high? Apple warranty is attractive..

With notable damage to the screen and chassis as you mentioned, I think that price seems somewhat high. If it was in excellent condition, then I wouldn't think twice about it.

Well that seller didn't come down on the price but I found the following phones:

64GB 6S
Device is in excellent condition with minor cosmetic wear
Device is covered under Apple Care + until Nov 30 2017
$425

128GB 6S Verizon
Mint Condition
$429

Thoughts?

Have you seen pictures of the Verizon phone? Has the seller stated whether it has been dropped on the floor, in water etc? If not, have you asked similar questions? If the Verizon phone is in real mint condition and you can get the seller to state that the phone hasn't been dropped or suffered any other accidents or hardware problems, I would be inclined to make that purchase, if I were looking to make a purchase.

Thanks. Just asked all those questions. The seller has 3 pictures of it and it looks to be in mint condition. Also asked if there are any screen scratches, dinged edges, etc.

Seller says the front glass is in "MINT condition with original seals on the device. The back housing is in MINT condition with original seals on the device". Not sure what "seals" means. Waiting to hear back..

Is Apple Care + on the 64GB phone attractive enough to no get the 128GB model? Seller could go down $15 hah...

I don't think the AppleCare on the other phone warrants the purchase price. The better deal is with the other phone, in my opinion. Does the seller have a solid rating? Has he sold other such items? Is this on Ebay or Swappa? Is it this listing? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhon...744177b149c5880045e53b&pid=100506&rk=1&rkt=1&

If so, stay away.

Swappa. Tons of positive ebay feedback and good amount of swappa feedback.

I see the listing on Swappa. I take the original seals mention to mean that the phone hasn't been tampered with (opened or repaired). Can't see much from the pictures. I would ask him to confirm that the phone has never had an accident nor has it been opened or repaired in any way. I think the price is good. Should there be a problem right away, you are covered under PayPal. Make sure to get confirmation of the aforementioned in an email before purchase. Make sure to save all correspondence, in case you have a problem with the phone.

Thanks. Well, I haven't heard back from the seller but two of his iPhones have sold in the past hour or so. Worth taking the risk? On of those phones was just like the one I'm considering buying..

I don't see any reason not to take the risk. You are covered by PayPal for 45 days (if not more). That should give you time to try the phone and make sure there are no obvious problems.

Have you looked on the Apple refurb site? They sell refurb phones now. They come with the standard warranty.
