I am working on an app to use youtube on iPads running iOS 6 and I want to know how much money I should put it on the App Store. I am planning on also making a free version with less features and ads, so don't say free, I decided to make a free and paid version after I made the poll

I think you're alone on this one.

The web interface works just fine, and for what doesn't, there is a youtube app already, isn't there? Just because it's not pre-installed, doesn't mean that matters.

I personally think that the web version is to hard to navigate around, slow, and glitchy

Google already made a YouTube app for iPhone, I'm sure it's just a matter of time for the iPad.

I've never had a need for something outside either inline play, or the mobile website.

Considering I can have always used the website (for free!) rather than the app on my iPad and Google is coming out with an official app soon, I would pay nothing for this app.

I don't mind paying $5 for it, if it's really good.

I'm not too fond of google's iOS youtube App yet ... perhaps im just used to the default iOS one.

$0, there's something called jasmine in the App Store for free, go check it out

Jasmine is amazing. Better than the old youtube app and better than the new one. Lets you see the top viewed, your favorites, and choose what stream quality you want. It is made by the same dev who did Alien Blue, the reddit app. It's universal and free.

I can acesss it for free from Chrome! Plus unlike the old app I can reply to comments although there are some limitiations such as following threaded conversations. I don't think I would buy one now tbh even if it had the functionality of the actual website.

Really the biggest things I missed with the update was AirPlay. I can get that with Jasmine or via the website.

Where is the option for "I don't want it at all?"

This and again, I don't get why the need for a duplicate conversation about it.
There are alternatives that are even better. People bitched about google maps too. At least be consistent.
