You see any difference in how those images look or how they are displayed? No, they are exactly the same. Dpi value of image has nothing to do with any of it.

What? I am talking about dpi value that you type in when you are creating new image in Photoshop or almost any other photo editing software. I was not talking about ppi value of display.

That has pretty much nothing to do with retina display.

Well, obviously, there is a common misconception that images created to be displayed on "Retina" displays shouldn't be set to low dpi values. Is there not?

um, no? besides that one person saying you should make images for each retina PPI value, which i already said was wrong. regardless, you still have to 'retinize' your website if thats your main question. the solution just doesn't have anything to do with setting the DPI for an image.
