How often do the widgets update? Can you change that timing?

I have the stock widget up, but it is kind of just a large button if it does not update in a timely manner.

Randomly it seems.

Can you change that timing?

No. I've found the stocks widget works ok if it's part of a stack. I have a stack of 2x2 stock widgets showing one share price each. As I swipe through they seem to update.

How the heck do you stop widgets from rotating on your home screen? I just want the weather widget on my homescreen without it randomly changing to something else. The following link (item #32) has info on how to do it, but it doesn't work for me. Long pressing on Smart Stack doesn't do anything.

You should be able to just add the widget you want rather than using a smart stack.

I see no way to add the weather widget to the home screen without using a smart stack.
