Similar to mine except I have the phase of the moon instead of temperature. And mine's all white to match my band.

I never change it (finding comfort in ritual).

Never, I like my personalized picture on my watch. Only thing I'd change is if it had more information on the face like some of the other ones.

I guess the time and date is ok for now. I'm glad they allowed personal pics

I would love to have a personalized photo on mine but I hate the fact that you can't add more complications. I'm stuck using the one with four complications because it's the only one with, well, four complications.

It depends on the band, i like to have utility with Numbers with my NATO, use the color or modular in yellow with the yellow sport strap, simple or utility without Numbers with the white sport strap, with the black sport strap i choose what i like mostly at the moment (almost anyting fits that), and with the Brown Hirsch i use the chronograph or the simple face for a modern classic look.

I switch bands mostly to fit my clothing, somtimes multiple times a day, and mostly switch the watchface with it. I switch colors on the color and modular face sometimes when i feel i have to :)

I use modular in white with all bands. Never remember to change the color per band. A "random" color option might be neat.

I've had two since I got my watch back in June. I had the one with the world on where it shows your location and you can tap to see the moon and planets. Now I just have the NYC time lapse.

I tend to change my watch face every few weeks. Although I'm really digging the "simple" watchface setup I currently have to match my (Product)Red sport band.

I change mine several times a day... I usually keep with the modular face (date, calendar, weather, activity, Panera) during work hours to keep track of my day, and when I'm done with classes I'll usually switch to something prettier and less utilitarian like the Shanghai timelapse or the jellyfish motion watch face. I especially like to use Shanghai later in the day because of how pretty it is at night.

What is the Panera one supposed to do? For me it just shows the logo.

I do switch them up from time to time, and it's great that we have the ability to do this. With Watch OS 2.0, the choices are much more varied since you can use your own photo backgrounds.

My go-to watch face is Utility. For me, an analog watch face is much quicker to read and process. I also love having the complications. I have Alarm, Dark Sky, and Fantastical complications activated. I tap the Alarm complication to set my wake-up alarm before taking the watch off and putting it on the stand next to my bedside, I use Dark Sky to tell me at a glance whether to put a sweater on my daughter before taking her to school, and Fantastical is a terrific calendar alternative.

I sometimes switch to a photo or live photo face (I have a great live photo of my daughter doing a kick in Tae Kwon Do). But I find that glancing at the time is a little less efficient with an active watch face in the background to distract my focus. It's fun though. Solar is another watch face that I enjoy, and I think it blends in best with the design of the watch, but it needs more complications.

I find the watch faces very limiting. It is one of my biggest complaints about the watch. I need to have the calendar on my watch face so that only leaves a very few options. If I am wrong please tell me so I can at least use my photos as a watch face.

every couple of weeks I use the Modular face the most, change colors as and when.

Then sometimes do the time-lapse photo's or my own as a watch face.

At weekends it's all about simple, elegant, style for me so I use Utility, weekdays it's all about work; battery, mail and calendar are important and I use Modular.

As I'm settling in, I've found its best to change faces for unique situations. Right now I only have 2 faces set up: day time and night time (yeah, I've started sleeping with it). Both are modular, but night time face has the middle section blank, the color is more muted, and I have my alarm, sleep, and battery life complications. I can imagine developing more optimized faces for work, weekends, exercises, nights out, etc.

There is really not that many choices. All of the watchfaces are bland. They seriously need to release watchface app section.

I want bits and pieces of a few of the existing faces all combined into one. I want time and date, but as many other items as possible for info (and they don't have to be pressable as I only want the info and can swipe up and have more info there for what I want).

Pretty much settled on Simple for a few months now, mainly because it's not defined/cramped by an outer circle so it makes the watch look bigger.

I will try to look at Modular or similar with newer complications, or showing photos.

But I wouldn't mind some sort of setting where say during work days between 8:30 to 5:30, Modular is on, then defaults to Simple when I'm off the clock.

Thats a lot of work for a minor feature, simple enough to do it yourself it takes 2 seconds. Although if and when the watch has a "jailbreak" this is the sort of mod I can picture. How about this, rather than a certain time it used your geocaching location like the phone can. When you reach work it swaps faces and vice versa when home. That would be cool!

I used to switch all of the time but with the new Photo Album face its new every time I look at it! Sometimes I will change to one of the faces with complications when I predict I will need them.

I used to use the Utility watch face all of the time, until Apple ruined it with OS 2. John Gruber explained how they ruined it here and here. Since then, I've been using the Modular watch face.

i pretty much stay with one, but that's in part because i don't like any of the analog faces available.
i think the rectangular case doesn't match the circular faces. the oval faces, a la Hermes apple watch dial, need to be available. either way, for looking sharp, i prefer to wear my apple watch face down on the right and put on my mechanical watch.
