due to the device just being super slow or freezes or whatever?
never for me.
The only time I do is if I install an app I don't like and delete it, I reboot to clear the residual cache left over.
It reboots on its own once in 2-4 weeks so I don't worry rebooting it explicitly.
Can you post that where it reboots every 2-4 weeks on it's own, I would like to see that.
I second this, I don't think this is true
Sorry I didn't get the question, I am not saying there is setting to set it to reboot. I am also not saying that all iPhones do this. I just noticed couple of times that the phone rebooted itself. I am not sure though what causes that.
i'm guessing you are having a springboard crash and its doing a "respring"
I have found if I go too long Find my iPhone will stop working. Once it stops the only way I can make it work is to reboot it. Ever since I noticed that I started to try to remember to reboot it once a week or so. Probably just an isolated problem, iPhone 4S Verizon iOS 7.1.2. But even if I bring up Find my iPhone on the phone, no other device or computer can find it, its strange.
I reboot once my iPhone stops playing HD videos smoothly, after the reboot, it plays it like butter. I'll also reboot if a game I'm playing is constantly crashing.
