How do you like that leather loop? I loved the feel of it when I tried it on. I'm worried about sweat killing it quickly because it's hot as hell down here right now. My body will quickly start raining on me to tell me it's too damn hot. I have it on 75 in my house and I can tell you when it's 76 instead. Anyway, I'd love to hear from someone who has used it.

Getting the loop wet will not hurt it. The leather is so processed that it is close to not even being leather anymore and water has little effect on it.

I have a sport watch with white band. It's early days but I got a Milanese loop last week to wear when I'm dressed a bit less scruffily than usual or when the glowing white of the white band feels too conspicuous. I can see myself swapping fairly often and I know I'll get a black band of some sort before the end of summer I just haven't decided what it'll be yet (the sport band probably).

I think I'd be tempted by a red strap (sport or leather) and I'd really like a mid to dark grey sport band (I suspect that wouldn't be a big seller though so will never happen).

Pretty much a daily thing based on attire and activity. I think this is the most underestimated feature of the Watch. They couldn't have made it easier and the way the sports bands demise into the Watch body is brilliant. I've got black classic buckle, white & blue sports band.

i don't switch out too much because there just aren't any decent bands available for a 38mm SGS..... I don't want a knock off adapter that could fail and hurt my watch.... the only adapter i'm aware of that's going the "made for apple" route is click... and it's not available....

THEN the problem is that most leather bands come with silver stainless steel buckles... i'm too OCD to have a silver buckle on my SGS.....

I do get past the OCD and have bought white and NOTpink.... since pin is tiny....

i'm impatiently waiting for those other colors that were shown overseas during that fashion show....

it would be nice if apple came up with some 38mm leather loops or even a modern buckle with a SG adapter... but I won't hold my breath for that one!

I normally wear the black.... I've changed out to white a few times... it all depends on my outfit and which color looks better..... haven't worn the NOTpink at all yet!

Yeah, I switch between the Milanese for my office/more formal attire and a blue sport band for weekends. Really appreciate the variety. Might add a green band later for another color option.

I only have the BSB right now. I had assumed that I was going to get a second band and the BSB would be relegated to gym wear and yard work, but I really love how the sport band feels. Best watch band I've ever had aside from the metal link band that came with my TAG. I work from home generally, only going into the office for half a day every other week. I'll probably still get a black leather band at some point, either Apple or third party, for when I do dress up. But there's currently no rush.

Same here. I REALLY like that dark blue one, and I think in general Apple needs some sport bands that aren't as loud as the current ones. That being said, that orange one calls out to the Bronco fan in me.

I have a SS with Black Leather Loop and also purchased a Black Sport Band. I wear the LL to work and the BSB on the weekends. I have also started doing a twice every morning swap to the sport during a workout and back to the LL for work. It's easy to do and I'm not having any issues.

I swap bands every week. I'll wear a band for a week and then change it on Sunday night / Monday Morning. Right now I have two bands the white and black sports band.

I just swapped three bands in 15 minutes because I couldn't decide which one I liked better. I got the Spigen Tough Armor case for Father's day and I've finally settled on the WSB to go with the case. The black leather isn't quite meaty enough for it.

I enjoy the hoco ss link most of the week days for work, then the sport band for theme parks on the weekends. I need to incorporate the new leather strap into the rotation somewhere.

I thought I would swap quite often but don't, despite now having three straps. I bought my 42 SS with black sport band, and wore that all the time. I then ordered a classic buckle and wore that for a few weeks. I now wear a white sport band. I don't swap that often, but will probably wear the classic buckle for best. I'm still debating whether to go for the milanese or not.

I have so far the blue and black sport bands. I plan to add the other colors in the future and if available a dark blue, red and orange. Maybe a few others. Not excited about the $50 price tag but they are well made, fit and feel great and look really good with the watch. I have not decided yet how best to pick the color I want other than to just swap and go a while until I feel like a change. At some point I will maybe have enough colors available I can coordinate with what I'm wearing.

For my 42 SS I have a milanese loop for work, where I'm always wearing a suit and tie. for golf and other sporting activities, I have a black sports band. For everything else I just got the brown leather loop. That will probably hold me for awhile. Love swapping out the bands, makes me feel like I have 3 watches.

I swap between my sports band, leather loop and Milanese loop pretty much everyday.

If I don't have to work I just keep the sports band on because it's stupid comfortable.

I wear a Hoco 5 bead stainless link band to work most days and when I go somewhere nice. Running around, I put on the Monowear NATO band since it's light, feels good and is very secure on my wrist. Occasionally, I'll put on one of the blue or brown leather Hadley Roma bands.

I swop between the BSB and black leather loop almost daily. I like the BSB for workouts. The loop can take it but I'd rather not have any sweat smells eventually impregnate it for as long as I can.
I also have a third-party link band on order coming next month so I'll alternate that as well if the fit is good.

Every day, Link bracelet during the day, sports band when I go to the gym or go for a bike ride.

I have a pattern to how I change bands on my 42mm SS-

  • Around the house, black sport band.
  • Going out casually, black leather loop.
  • Weddings, funerals etc. dressier occasions, Milanese loop.

That is a good point. I have someone ask if I have bought another watch as I have swapped bands.

My wife stayed with her white she got with hers on 4/24 until a couple of weeks ago, I picked her up a pink (er, coral), she only used 1/2 the band (pink/white), today she was meeting a couple of friends, had on this awesome black outfit, I mentioned she should use my band (SG/black), she wound up black/pink, but I used her white band today (the SG + white combo is pretty cool), and now I can see this will get addictive :D

So short answer, infrequently, but I could see this becoming a thing :)

Hahaha, just changed mine out this morning since I got a new Blue Sportsband for Dad's Day :D Love the SG + Blue combo - it was a fave of mine before the watches actually shipped (using an online band matching site).

So now we have, in 42mm: White (from her Sport Silver), Black (from my SG), Pink , Green and Blue. So basically all the sport bands :)

We've been having a +blast+ swapping out bands. I've even started using the large section, so we've got even more mix options, like today I was using a full blue and my wife was able to use the small/medium section blue combined with a white 1/2.

I swapped the medium / large band sport band out for the small / medium back on April 24th. Yeah that was the last time I swapped bands so not very often.

I find myself rotating between the sport band and my stainless link band every day. When I'm at work, I prefer the stainless band. When I get home and walk around in my undershirt and basketball shorts, it feels odd to wear a stainless band so I switch to the sport band. If it were a regular watch I would probably just take it off when I'm home and I guess that's why regular watches don't have easily swappable bands without tools. But with the Apple Watch I want to wear it all day long because it does so much more, and to do that I feel the need to switch bands throughout the day. How often do you switch bands?

I alternate between my black sports band + Spigen Tough Armor case or Blue sports band with a monoy see through case.

I do this. I workout in the morning with a sport band, go to work with link band. Very rarely do I go to work with a sport band.
