How often do you swap your straps?

Fun fact, when I bought my original watch in 2015 I went to the store and bought a Black Sport Band for it. I still wear that band every day as I have for the past eight years, and it's held up amazingly well! I thought $50 was steep for a rubber band, but this thing has certainly stood the test of time and I've gotten my money's worth out of it :)

Even though I own four straps at this point, I only use one, the Sport Loop.

I find the Sport Loop to be the most lightweight and comfortable to wear. I hardly even know it's there. The Velcro allows me to have a perfectly adjusted fit every time too.

If I was more fashion conscious, I'd probably wear others, but the Tornado/Grey color I have is neutral and goes with virtually all of my outfits.

Apple's straps are kind of pricey too and I'd rather spend my money on other things.

I usually wear the same band and don’t switch too often. Although with my S7 SS, if the wife and I are going out somewhere, I’ll swap in the Milanese band to dress it up a little. Otherwise, it’s usually just Nike sport band and sport loop.

I've essentially worn the same strip since I got my Ultra. Previously I switched a lot, but none were as good as the Ocean band.

When summer heats up I might look for something that breathes more, though.

Edit: This thread inspired me to pick up a Solo Braided in Midnight. I'll probably wear this through summer.

For the first year I had my watch I'd wear just the band that came with it. Tried out some third party knockoffs that broke within a few days, never went back to them. Then I ran into some $20 clearanced sport bands at Walmart and loved how just changing the band made the watch feel completely different, as if I got a brand new watch!

Since then, been changing my bands out every day, and I've collected a few of them. Lots of fun trying to match to my mood, outfit, whereabouts or interests at the time.

Ah, so that‘s how it began …

Don‘t be so humble. You‘re in three-figures-territory, no?

Lots of fun trying to match to my mood, outfit, whereabouts or interests at the time.

Ab-so-lutely. Apple made it so easy to change the strap and released so many cool bands, I feel people who always wear the same strap really miss out on a big part of the Watch experience. Also, the bands I bought for the OG in 2015 still fit on the Ultra in 2023, and fit well! How cool is that?

Making it possible to change straps so easily, was and still is one of the best features of the AW if you ask me.
Like you said, It‘s a big part of the overall experience, being able to change the look of your watch to fit your outfit, mood or activity in a couple of seconds - just fantastic 😎
