Or do you turn it off at all? I would think turning it off once in a while would be good for it?

I restart mine every Friday night. It might be overkill, but back when I had the Series 2, I had it crash on me during several runs where I lost all of my data. After that happened a few times, I got into the habit. Since then, I've continued to restart it every week. I've never had another issue, and don't want to jinx myself.

one of them i turn off practically every day - the one i wear while the other is charging. after the primary watch is charged i turn off the 2nd watch to preserve the battery for the next day. i figure it's not great to keep it charged between 96% or whatever and 100% all the time.

as for my primary watch i rarely turn it off - maybe once every 2 weeks.

Since reading here that the DoD of 60% is good to extend battery health and because I don't wear it at night, I now just turn it off during the night. I charge it once a day and use about 50-60% during the day.

I turn it off when I need to clean it. Mine can get grubby from a lot of my activities and skin chemistry and I have to give it a good scrubbing periodically. There are also the occasional reboots for WatchOS updates.

The ones I’m not wearing I put in to power save. Although I can’t see any harm in fully powering down?

Every now and again, the face refuses to respond to up/down swipes. I reboot when that happens. Other than that, and for software updates, I don't turn the watch off.

I once read that the swipe bug is a consequence of some zoom setting (which I used to have set, but no longer do).
