I think Touch ID is one of the greatest innovations in iOS. How often do you use it?

All the time, always. Once you have registered your fingers for touch ID, it's far easier to unlock the device instead of entering 4 digit pin everytime.

I haven't expect this is so graet feature, especially after change from iPhone 5. I use it all the time. Working great, without any glitches.

All the time. I had some issues with my first phone that would forget my prints over and over, but after it was replaced for other issues, it's been 100%. Love the feature.
That being said, I have an iPad mini 2 and no way in the world I would pay the extra $100 or whatever the difference for the equivalent mini 3 just to gain touch to unlock.

I think "often" and "mostly" need to be swapped if the intent is to prevent a sliding scale in the poll.

I'd say "mostly" means more frequently than "often"

Because of this, I voted "always", even though I really wanted to vote one-notch down from "always".

That makes sense so I've fixed it and moved your vote to it's intended place. :)

Never. I prefer the passcode and can type it as quickly as Touch ID. I tried it out for a few days but the success rate was only around 90% for me, so when I reinstalled iOS I didn't bother storing my fingerprints again. I might try it again sometime.

I use it all the time. It's so easy and quick for me. I've never had any issues with it not working either.

I use it 99% of the time. I have a complex password I type in occasionally. Also, Touch ID is great for pulling the phone out of the pocket, and unlocking it simultaneously.

I use it all the time to unlock my phone. Also, my Capital One CC app opens and logs me in with it as well. No need to enter login name and password.

I use it all the time to unlock my phone, use in apps, etc. Unless I am forced not to I use it.

I use it all the time too, but I can't stand how I always have to retype my iTunes password to reactivate it. I don't know mine from heart, so it's like an every other day deal where I have to type in my passcode, go into 1Password, type in my 1Password password because I can't use Touch ID with it until I activate it, press my Apple ID in favorites, press on the hidden password, copy it, and then lock my phone, try Touch ID again, and then enter my password.

Probably wouldn't be allowed in the App Store, but I'd really like a widget where I could hide some frequently used passwords with a small passcode. I could easily paste some in Heapo, but I don't know, it bothers me that it's in cleartext in an app that syncs.

Why do you constantly have to reactivate touch id with Apple ID?

I usually use it but sometimes my hands are clammy and it won't work, also, when I slide a notification on the lock screen I feel more inclined to use the passcode instead of Touch ID because my finger already is in the middle of the screen from sliding the notification.

4 digit passcode or complex?

I've tried it side-by-side. TouchID is faster than I can type even a 4-digit code.

Unless I made it something really simple like 1111.

I like the fact that I can use a complex passcode as well. On my work phone, it's a requirement. TouchID allows me to not have to type that in all the time.

I voted 'always' - think it's one of the best things about the iPhone/iPad and grew to loathe not having it on my first gen iPad Air.
