That must be nice to be on MR when at work- as long as you don't/can't get in trouble if caught doing so. :)

i could probably get in trouble but the hospital sure as hell doesn't want to lose me as an employee :p :D

My body might leave, but my mind is always at MR.

In fact, when I change my mind, it's really just my mind going back and quick-editing one of the thoughts.

Brilliant - made me laugh out loud. :D
Me, I am in and out like a ferret up and down a drainpipe. All the time. And it is frightening how many times I look for the New Posts.

Well, I have the first bookmark in my Bookmarks Bar set to the new posts search, so I just hit ⌘-1 to see new posts. I have this set on each Mac I own (bless you, .Mac bookmark syncing). I also have specific forums set up to ⌘-2, ⌘-3, etc. I also have the new posts link on my phone.

So how often do I visit?

Way too often.

Pretty much whenever I'm on Safari. I usually have about 5 tabs open, one of them normally is Macrumors. I've been visiting it less often now, though, as exams are coming up :(

I call BS on this. Everyone knows that you live here! :p :D
Yeah, right. If I lived here, it would have taken me way less than three minutes to notice your post. ;)

But, yes, since my "ascension" I'm on a lot more.

On the other hand, I've taken several months-long "sabbaticals" in the past, so I'm not always here. Just usually. :)

I am signed up to too many forums I believe, and I check all of once a day, it takes aprox an hour... Feels like a waste of time. Keeps my fingers active still... I tend to crack them alot which; over the years has screwed them up, typing stops me from doing that...

You do have a point! :D

It's 0200 Monday here and I think 1300 Sunday there. Kind of weird when you think about how the world is connected.

I'm another in the "too often category" and I have a feeling it's only going to get worse over the next few weeks as I'll be on holidays.

Try using unbolded, regular font. I've heard it's a lot less straining on the fingers.

Ditto that. I think there is going to be a huge influx of posts from a lot of students who are out on vacation.

How long have people got off in the US?

I was shocked when I found out how long I had off between semesters - from the 7th of June to 24th of July!

Oh Oh! Have to work hard to catch up!
Eh, I'm not too worried. I know you've seen Doctor Q's thread w/ stats on posters here.

It really depends on if you're in a semester (two main terms: fall and spring) or quarter system (three main terms: fall, winter, spring). Semester (what I'm on) summer break is usually sometime in May until mid to late August. Quarter system's summer break is usually late June to late September. :D
