iPod How often should I charge the shuffle?

So my Shuffle came today, I charged it and all is fine. But I'm wondering how often should I charge it - and is it possible to do damage by over-charging it?

i don't think it matters how often you charge it. it shouldn't do any damage to the shuffle

Charge it when it needs power...duh! No forreal though charge it when the power is low.

Yep, I just charge mine when it dies. On very rare occasions, I'll actually plan ahead and charge it before I need it.
