iPod How often should I charge the shuffle?

So my Shuffle came today, I charged it and all is fine. But I'm wondering how often should I charge it - and is it possible to do damage by over-charging it?

i don't think it matters how often you charge it. it shouldn't do any damage to the shuffle

Charge it when it needs power...duh!🙄 😛 No forreal though charge it when the power is low.

Yep, I just charge mine when it dies. On very rare occasions, I'll actually plan ahead and charge it before I need it. 😀
