Since I've had my iTouch, I find myself watching movies on it more than a DVD player. I can watch a movie, watch a sporting event (mostly hockey) and not miss anything. I use this as my primary dvd player now because it is what "I" want to watch without the hassle of setup, kids or dogs (Great Danes make better doors than windows) running in front of the TV. Just wondering?????

Movies not so often although i have a couple loaded , my problem is that i live in Spain and i have to rip my CDs by my own and with a g4 ibook takes an entire night ( hope to get movie rentals in itunes sometime before end of the century over here ) , most of the time i watch podcasts and youtube which is really fun .

The screen resolution is way better than my normal tv :D

Greetings

never once watched a movie on my touch though i've had it for a month now. i'm around my macbook whenever i have time for a movie, so i watch it on that. on the go i just listen to music on the touch..no movies.

I only watch YouTube clips and QuickTime movie trailers. I cannot fathom watching an entire film on anything smaller than a laptop computer.

British tv everday no movies.

How do you get these off the tv?

I've watched 2 movies on my iPod Touch so far. During 1 of them, for some reason the movie suddenly stopped and the movie app went back to the screen where you choose which movie you want to watch. It done this twice, any idea why?

Did you burn/convert them or buy them?

I have bought 5 movies and burned/converted 5. I had trouble only once on the one I converted.

Watched a couple of cooking shows on the plane the other night. Then listened to a couple of podcasts after that.

I love the Touch - the ultimate "all in one" PDA / entertainment device!! The interface continues to blow me away every time I wake it from sleep.

virtually never. i suppose if i were on a plane often - but even then i prefer to read ebooks instead. movies... arm gets cramped and then i watch and realise why i hate movies - but yeah, they look alright but im quite sure the screen is only 262k - no smooth transitions between colours.

I watch movies while doing cardio at the gym. I typically watch 30 minutes at a shot, and before the week is over I've finished the movie.

I also have bought some of the Fuel TV shows, mostly First Hand.

I gotta agree, I'm a movie junkie as well and thats why I really don't like the whole rent movies. Its good for others but for me, I like to buy them because I know I'll be watching them over and over. I won't buy it from iTunes though, freakin expensive for just a digital movie, I'll go with DVD and just convert it myself for a digital backup copy. Besides, digital library looks cool with the coverflow instead of my DVD library on my shelf.

Almost never when I'm in America, but when I'm over in Germany I like to watch movies on the train commute. That's about 60% of my life spent over there, so I watch stuff a lot.

I use it to watch Video podcasts quite often, and have taken to loading up older movies that I keep meaning to watch but never get around to. Just watched "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp" and "Helvetica", for example.

Help with I touch...

I am new to the itouch world and having trouble downloading movies and podcasts. I show a podcast on my computer, but it won't sync to my i touch. I updated the itunes and it still won't work. Can you watch movies downloaded directly from itunes or how do I get movies on my touch?
help! so lost...
Thanks
