I actually use mine alot. When I have to sit in the backseat for example. 
Or when I don't feel like opening up my laptop. I only have about 10 movies on mine so there isn't alot of selection. But its convenient, especially if I'm waiting somewhere for a long time and i might have to get up and go in a hurry, eg airports, waiting in line. But then I watch alot of shows on my ipod.
