Awww, she was so happy.

MAN has she lost weight. Even more than I initially knew.

Larry King had her on his show for a interview about three months ago. He was asking her about her weight loss. What she had for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Larry wanted to demonstrate her weight loss to the audience. He had Nichole stand up and he she did the "da da da boom dance." The whole interview was kind of silly.

Yeah, old Larry isn't exactly known for his hard hitting, insightful interviews of people of depth and substance. Would not have minded seeing the dance, though :D

Saw a clip on the news last night, and ouch--that was bad. Disoriented is a genteel way of putting it.

Why is someone a loser just because they're stoned?

I thought we liked natural things and disliked chemicals. I'm confused.
You're completely missing the point; it's not the use of Marijuana that's the issue, it's toking up before a public performance on a nationally televised broadcast that officially qualifies you as either a flaming loser, or pathetically desperate for attention of the wrong sort.

It has nothing at all to do with Marijuana itself--the same applies to getting hammered drunk (actually, I'd guess she looked more drunk than stoned if she wasn't just acting), or loading up on any of a number of other mind-altering drugs that reduce your ability to stand behind a podium and say three coherent sentences in a row.

Standing up there after smoking a cigarette, in contrast, may be more unhealthy, but it won't make you act like a doofus in front of a couple million people. That's why it's a recreational drug--it's for recreation, not when you're preparing for public speaking, or if people I know are any indication you'll likely end up acting rather stupid.

I think the biggest evidence that she was acting, however, was that nobody backstage looked at the barely-able-to-stand presenter and replaced her with a backup. I don't think she's so famous that the'd be reluctant to bump her if she didn't seem coherent before taking the stage.

Have you ever watched her show on E! (back when it was on, I donno if it was canceled or what).

Even after she gave up drinking and drugs Anna Nichole could barely form a coherent sentence most the time. I highly doubt she was under the influence of marijuanas "evil grip".

I used to do some local amateur stand up. I'd always smoke before going on stage. How many bands do you think use some form of drugs before getting on stage? I'm sorry if this shatters your perfect little world, but not all drugs make you act crazy and start killing people like Uncle Sam wants you to believe. Smoking a joint or bowl simply relaxes most people, and if anything, makes you more able to understand exactly what is going on around you, and interact with such.

Now booze, on the other hand. That stuff messes you up. Why anyone would insist that liqour should be legal and marijuana not... that I'll never understand.

Maybe you'll be his next guest for an interview about food choices, after your Omni Heart study is over! ;)

We do have some real characters that would be a very interesting interviews on "Larry King" though. It seems to be all about the entertainment value on his show. :D

Not to turn this into yet another random drug thread, but I just wanted to say...

Actually, being a Humboldt County (which, if you're a reefer fan, you've probably at least heard of) native for going on 20 years, I'm quite familiar with the realities of marijuana compared with the ridiculous fiction (not to mention the fact that at least in this area buying it it most definitely does not support any kind of terrorism, unless you count populist activism as terrorism). I don't partake of any mind-altering chemicals stronger than caffeene myself (yes, including alchol), but smoking a little pot for recreation is VERY common around here.

As I said before, speaking strictly from experience, I have not noted this to be the case much of the time. Volume enters into it as well as the individual, and being very stoned isn't nearly as bad as being very drunk, but put enough THC into most people, and they're not operating at full capacity.

Again, though, as I said above, she looked a lot more drunk than she did stoned. Either that, or she just doesn't have any functional brain cells left, and the producers of that show put her on fully aware that she acts that way all the time.

I don't think pot is the issue here. She just had one to many Trimspa before going on stage.... and by trimspa i mean lines of blow

do we even know shes stoned? I was thinking more along the lines of drunk. Stoned people that ive seen are more mellow and quiet. however drunk people are more screaming, slured speeched, and overly excited, which I feel fit her better.

C'mon guys, do we really think she was even stoned, drunk or anything at all? I think that was the perception she wanted, obviously, but do you think that she really was?

1. She didn't just get that way all of a sudden, so the network had to know prior to her going out, and did they really want her out there if that was the case, not knowing what she might do or say?? (read Janet Jackson, Bono here).

2. That is the personna that she wants to portray, it is her schtick, her signature, so to speak. She has no talent, or abilities to exploit, so her claim to fame is that she comes off as a drunken, stoned, gold digging cheap broad. She is the poster child for it. The network, I think, would allow her to 'act' the part, but not actually 'be' the part.

3. Her acting was really bad (what a surprise). All of her movements appeared to be calculated and exaggerated to make her point.

I think she is getting just what she wanted out of it, people talking about her and coverage. Shows as removed as PTI (Pardon the Interruption), a sports show, were panning her. She goes by the mantra that there is no such thing as bad publicity, so as long as she is in the public eye, she's happy. As one said above, she is an "attention whore". She can't get good press, so she settles for this.

While it may be seen by us as a sad way to live your life, and to be remembered, she laughs all of the way to the bank. In the end it will probably get to her though. She wants to be a tragically, misunderstood Marilyn Monroe type, but instead she is a cartoon character.

Bottom line, it wasn't about pot or booze. It was about $$$$$$

Um, I can feel sorry for her AND think she's a loser.

pity her for her money, but don't pity her problems.. it can only fuel an addict (this one seems to have a few addictions). feel and understand her pain... that's the only thing you can do for someone in that situation. it's her choice, she could have been one of the most beautiful women in the world, but she chose money instead.

weird... i just got deja vu.

peace.

oh yeah. i'd do her in a heartbeat.
You ever seen those boobs "in the flesh"?

They look like they've been "done" more times than Michael Jackson's face.
