i have gone from an ultimate macbook air 2.0i7/8gb ram 512ssd to a 15" retina and could not be happier. It is slighter heavier but the build quality is amazing and the screen is just amazing. I am a casual user and have no real requirements. My wife now wants a retina also as she loves the screen she does not care about specs just loves the screen and build quality.
