    Hi there,

I've had a quick look through the archives, but can't see anything that exctly answers this (but I did only look quickly).

I'm interested in how quickly your MBP battery drains when it's in sleep mode. My battery is down to 75% health after 120 cycles, and overnight it's lost 15% of its charge whilst in hibernate mode - that's hibernate, not the normal sleep mode. I've beden using the machine for about 5 minutes this morning, and it's lost about 5% - all I'm doing is running a web browser, mail client and a couple of terminal windows, I have a DVD-ROM mounted but it's not being accessed.

Are these times normal? Or is my battery starting to 'go'? It's only about 8 months old so I thought it would last longer than this. Have already calibrated the battery, but that doesn't seem to help. :(

    Thanks,

    Mark.

when did you get your MBP? does the battery health fluctuate? does it sometimes go completely dead after it sleeps despite of being on full charge? a lot of the MBPs had some pretty lousy batteries (Apple has the recall # on their website) so go exchange it if it falls into that category.

or it could just be that the battery is starting to go.
