iOS 11 removed Facebook integration, yet in my Calendars I still have a Facebook calendar, with no clear way to remove it. So how do I remove the calendar now? When I tap "i" there is no option to Delete.

Try: Settings > Privacy > Calendars, uncheck Facebook

Facebook is not listed there. It's like when Apple yanked out integration, they left the Facebook calendar in with no way to remove it!

Well, depending on under what account do you have Facebook, i might guess that you need to remove it from there, i.e : if you have configured from Facebook page, you need to go there, otherwise if is related to an gmail/hotmail etc, you might want to see configurations from there.

Not sure what you mean. The calendar was created via the iOS 10 Facebook integration. With the integration gone, I can find no way to remove the calendar.

What 'm trying to say is that ( and here I go with an example) : I had synced previously events from Champions League to my device. With the latest iOS version, even I couldn't find a way to remove it. So this was created by adding the official link to my Google Calendar from gmail.com/calendars and then to have it synced on iPhone. So I was able to remove it only by going to gmail.com/calendars and then to remove the link, restarting device and not seeing it anymore.

Yeah but again, the calendar was added via the Facebook integration. Which is now gone. In iOS 10 I would have gone to Settings->Facebook and turned off calendars. That is now gone.

Then I don't know man! I'm not the a fan of Facebook so really in this case don't know how to proceed. Maybe try something from facebook.com from Account Settings. There must be a correct settings on removing this Facebook integration without iPhone.

Under Accounts and Passwords -> Fetch New Data, more remnants of the Facebook contacts/calendar account. Quite the 'miss' by Apple to not clean this stuff up when removing the integration..

As far as I know, there were always "missing stuff or features" regarding to Facebook in general, Apple doesn't quite like apps that are always asking permission about mic, location, camera etc

This is more about Apple removing some low level integration and forgetting to clean up after themselves completely. Hoping 11.0.1 addresses it.

Or probably 11.1 as they did last year with 10.1 when they fixed issue related to integration and events on iOS Calendar

I'm wondering how to get rid of the Facebook calendar too. I figured it would get removed, but it’s still there. They removed Facebook from contacts, but not calendar.

There should still be a Settings > Facebook option, just grouped with the other installed apps. Is it in the permissions there?

There is a setting there if you have the Facebook app installed, but that wasn’t a requirement to add Facebook calendar events in previous iOS versions.

Even with the Facebook app installed though, there is no option to remove the calendar since it was never added by the app in the first place. Basically it’s an oversight by Apple. In my case the calendar doesn’t even sync, but I’ve had someone else report that his still does.

It's definitely a weird oversight. Maybe apple employees are not allowed to have Facebook set up at all and so never saw this.

I'm still seeing my "Firstname Lastname" entry in "Fetch New Data"...very annoying. Has anyone managed to get rid of this outdated entry for Facebook?
