On a scale 1-10?
I will give it a 9. Battery saving features and it being supported by all old devices makes me know that apple is listening to us and know people still have old devices.

For "the most advanced mobile operating system" I expected more. Yes, there is some nice new features but like always, no love for supporting smaller countries, like always US and expansion is so slow to another countries. Baltic countries still don't have iCloud two-step verification....

I give 4,5.

I'd say a 7-8. This is exactly the OS they should be releasing after iOS 8. Proactive looks great and a lot of the new app features are things I'll use regularly like the enhancements to Notes.

9 out of 10. iOS already does everything I need it to, so all these enhancements and additions are just icing on the cake. I also understand that my personal wish list isn't what Apple uses to develop their products and services, so that keeps my expectations in line.

really liked the battery save feature and optimizations being done. Some of the little touches overall are what I wanted

the talk about performance enhancements was nice, but I will wait to see it in action first on older devices

here's hoping they do bring in the enhancements, not only to battery optimization but also to performance on the older iPhones/iPads

9/10, since I really liked the new Wallet and News apps but surprised that they did not include weather and stocks in iPad and that they did not redesign app folders for iPad (as far as I know).

Haven't tried it yet, so can't say just how satisfied I am with it....

iOS already does so much. For the people giving it a 5 out of 10, I'd like to know what your expectations were. A night mode would have been a great addition, but I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head.

I think the major updates in iOS 7 and 8 have had some people thinking we're going to get radical revisions of the OS every year. We'd never have a stable OS if they just kept piling it on. It took months for some of the features in iOS 8 to work perfectly for me (i.e. 3rd party keyboard glitches).

It seems like a smaller update compared to last year. I like the Google Now style feature but I wish they weren't gimping it over privacy concerns. It's still a nice update and I can't wait to find out about all the extra stuff once the "all the little things in iOS 9" thread is posted.

Swift Key still doesn't work 100% of the time....
