I have never understood why people keep their expensive phones in the same pocket as keys and loose change. It's asking for scratches, yelling out for them.

It will eventually get scratched. It's a gagdget guys. It's inevitable unless you won't use your phone and keep it in the box.

My guess is that it'll scratch eventually however I have really no idea regarding the materials of the 6. Let's wait till we see it.

I would say that the current iPhone (5S) is rather great at scratch prevention; leaps and bounds ahead of the 5 anyway. I don't see Apple going backwards here. For all intents and purposes, it will be the same as the 5S (maybe better?).

I find all the fuss to avoid scratches quite amusing. Nothing wrong with wanting to keep your stuffs as pristine as possible but some feels like an... obsession, that defies logic.

I laugh at friends who agonised over silver or gold iphone admiring its thinness when they finally make up their mind and get it, slapped a 2 inch thick purple barney suit over it for protection. I'm glad I've grown out of the "yay new phone now need front back top down & side protection" circus n just enjoy the phone in its original skin. But to each his own. It works for me coz I change new phone every 2 years and have enough common sense to avoid doing things that attract scratches, like trying to remove a speck on the screen with sandpaper.
