So my new Macbook Pro 15" 2.7/512/460 is due to arrive tomorrow (and I'm super excited)!!
But here comes the question to life: should i start my mac from new, or start it from my TimeMachine copy from my old Macbook pro retina 13? I once heard, that not making a clean install, could severely degrade the perfomance of your mac - i know for certain this was the case for Windows, but is it still like this?
And another question if i start from scratch: how do i transfer my iMessage history to the new computer?
