All I did was download the 12.4 software on my computer, shift+update and clicked on the ipsw then it updated it without a hitch. After it was updated, I installed the new jailbreak using Impactor and the .ipa. After it was jailbroken, I just had to reinstall the tweaks but it kept all of the preferences so I didn't have the set everything up again. It was actually only about a 15 minute ordeal.
That is what I did and that is what I would do if I were you.Okay, I'm wondering if the route I wanna take will work and what you described sounds very similar. I'm on 12.1.2 and jailbroken. Since it's technically a semi-tether, if I restart my phone into an unjailbroken state, update to 12.4, install the newest unc0ver ipa, jailbreak, I won't run into an issues causing me to have to restore?
I just don't wanna go through the hassle of resyncing all my music and doing the backup stuff. Dx
For the first time I jailbroked my iphone6plus using Impactor 5.2 and unC0ver 3.5.6.
Just discovered ReProvision from this discussion (thanks guys) and I went ahead to install and signed my unC0ver with it. Now my question is, if I go ahead and shutdown my iPhone, I understand I do not need to re-jailbreak it?
Appreciate your responses.
