Everyone here thus far (with a few exceptions) are being real douches to OP. Sure, he might not have phrased his comments in the best way, but it's a semi-legitimate question. Maybe OP might not have damaged the physical screen, but maybe down the road something will come up with the LCD display. He is curious, I would be too. Yet, without those two or three out there, he did not get a legitimate response. I'm starting to not like these forums anymore because of the serious flaming that happens over the stupidest of things.

Note to the people reading:

He didn't squeeze the glass, he squeezed the metal band. That is much easier to bend than the glass.

OP: if you don't see any problems, then everything is good. That said, if anything does appear, you can still take it back to the Apple Store for a look since there is a year of warranty.

Let me solve this with some old school tech analogy.
Remember those calculators about 20 years ago that when you pressed the LCD it changed contrast and then when you let go it went back to it's normal contrast?
Well considers this:
1. LCD tech evolved, therefore the durability is better.
2. On those old calculators the protective screen was extremely thin (and it wasn't even glass, very thin plastic i think) not like the iPhone 4 glass.

So, although I can't say for sure it's a safe bet that the components are ok.

I am a professional in the field of LCD screens and excel in gorilla glass.. i can professionally tell you that you have cracked the LCD screen internally and it is now leaking liquid. I am sorry, your iPhone 4 will soon cease to live.
