Personally when I wear a leather strap, I like my watch to be nice and snug so it barely moves on my wrist. For big heavy metal bracelets, like my SB link bracelet, I wear it looser. Sport bands would be medium tight as in not loose enough to slide freely but not too tight to cut off my blood circulation.

Funny thing, I also noticed today that my SB link bracelet (with 4 links) fitted me perfectly a couple days ago but feels loose now.

How about you guys?

I wear it snug. But never tight to the point where I can visibly see my skin being bunched up and wrist squeezed. I’ve seen some really tight pictures here and wonder how it doesn’t cut off their blood flow 😅

I would be concerned about nerve compression wearing a watch too tightly. Won’t notice it at first, can take time to develop. I had that problem with my S0 when I first got it 4 years ago. I found a slightly looser fit that caused no compression problems but allowed the sensor on the Watch to work fine. I use the same fit with my new S5 and the sensors work fine on it too. The Watch just moves a bit when I wiggle it.

Pretty loose I guess. I prefer it that way. It may change, as I have had my watch for 2 weeks, and not worn a watch otherwise for 15 years.

Medium for every day use. Snug when I'm excercising (and want more accurate HRM readings).

That means for me (42mm Nike S2 S/M band), 3rd hole for normal use, 4th hole for excercise.

4th hole S/M sport band? Dude I think we have the same size wrists. Are yours 150mm?

Your wrist will swell at times when you retain and lose water. Plus if you wear a watch metal bracelet a little tighter, there will be very mild stretch. All perfectly normal.

I wear my watches loose enough to fit the tip of my forefinger between the band and my wrist.

I like it loose enough to where when I shake my wrist a little it slightly adjusts, but tight enough where it’s not rotating around my wrist.

Until you asked, I had no idea. But I was curious, so I measured. My left wrist is 6.5", or about 165mm. I have the Nike band and I think it has more holes than the regular Apple sports band. 08BB1456-371A-48F1-B4EB-7642D595C9E7.jpeg

With the magnetic metallic bands I tend to wear them too loose and the watch starts rotating too far around my wrist. With the sport band it feels almost too tight at first but then I don't notice it the rest of the day and the watch stays perfectly in place.
