How to access Handoff in iOS 11?

I used to be able to handoff Safari to my other iOS devices with a lock screen icon that slid up. I don't see that any longer, is there a change on how Handoff/Continuity works now?

I can confirm too. I only see handoff in the multi-tasking, no icon on the lock screen.

iPhone 7 with iOS 11.0.2 and late 2013 MacBook Pro 15 with macOS High Sierra.
