Hi guys.

Ok just set up new watch.

Have a Sim Only EE plan. Can I just set up the cellular service via the watch without calling EE ?

Do I need to turn anything off whilst setting up & then how do I know if it’s set up. Do I need to turn anything on ?

Also , don’t i get a few months free when sign up ?

Cheers for any help.

It's all supposed to be doable without calling EE and you may be lucky. I activated my S3 when they first came out though and it took days of phone calls with EE telling me to unpair my watch from my phone etc. and leave it unpaired until the network reloaded my profile and then try again.
I think I must have unpaired and paired the thing about 10 times during this period and it turned out that they had missed a setting on my account that allowed the request for the 2nd line to go through.
Hoping you have better luck, they certainly should know a lot more about it by now :)

If you’ve never had cellular before, just open the watch app and go to the cellular section.

It’ll open a window with a browser in it, sign into your EE account then select the tariff (there’s only one) and that’s it done.

You get some free months, not sure if it’s 3 or 6.

Ok so I go to cellular section on watch & just 2 options.

Plan that says No Sim

Status that says No Connection

Doesn’t allow me to do anything. If I go to Watch app on phone under cellular it says to call 150. Is this right ?
