I got a 13 Pro from Verizon and went through the activation process, which I've since learned was for the pre-installed physical SIM. Is it possible to activate the eSIM instead? If so, any ideas on how to do it? This Verizon support page only seems to cover adding an eSIM with an additional cellular plan.

Just chat with Verizon and tell them you’d like to switch your line to eSIM. Give them the IMEI2 number and they’ll take it from there.

After they’ve pushed the line to eSIM you’ll get a notification in your settings to add the cellular plan. Once you activate the eSIM through the settings don’t panic if you’re not getting service immediately. It could take 10-15 minutes to fully activate.

Thanks! I know in the past their Call Filter app did not work with eSIM - has that changed?

Can you convert to esim via settings/cellular/convert to esim? I did this with my sim (AT&T)
