How to activate service on iPhone 6 from iPhone 4?

Hi. I just restored my new iPhone 6 from my iCloud backup and all my apps etc have transferred over but the phone has no service. How do I activate it (and therefore end my iPhone 4's service)?

you need to call your cell phone company and give them your new sim card # or get a new sim card, or go to a cell phone company's store for help
