I've noticed that sometimes Mail shows you an e-mail that you've sent someone so that you can follow up.

I know this can be toggled on or off at Settings > Mail.

When Mail shows you the follow up suggestion, one has the option to be reminded again at a later date of one's choosing.

But what if I received an e-mail that I want to be reminded to follow up on? Is there a way to set a Reminder on any e-mail of my choosing? Or do I have no choice but to wait and hope that Mail decides to mark that specific e-mail for reminding?

Thanks in advance!

You can do this on the Mac (Right-click mesage -> "Remind me") but I don't think the option is in iOS 17.

EDIT: I just looked again on my phone, if you go into the message then tap the share icon on the bottom there is the "Remind Me" option.

Swipe right on any email and you can set a reminder for it. You can also swipe left, then 'More' and set it there.

If you're inside the email, you can press the reply button and set it there as well.

Awesome, thank you very much!
