I have a shortcut "to PDF" shortcut that saves content of a site/app to pdf & pushes them to apple notes.
for offline viewing.

how do I add the shortcut to the share menu(safari), I can add the shortcut app but I want to add the shortcut itself

on iPhone you can just save as pdf directly, is there a better way?

none of those work

* cannot run from menu bar, as it doesn't know which url it is
* Services menu is in finder I need it in safari to grab the share-sheet
* keyboard shortcut just gives blank page as it appears to be pulling nothing

:(

maybe there's a better shortcut out there

Safari also has the Services sub-menu. Whether that method will work either… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunately, the only thing via the Share Sheet I could find is indeed the one already listed: Share > Shortcuts > choose shortcut.

I think I would attack this by adding a special folder to the PDF button in the Print dialog. Create this folder somewhere in your user folder and call it "Print to Notes". Then create a keyboard shortcut (cmd-P) for the "Print to Notes" button in the Print dialog like this:

Set up a Folder Actions workflow so that whenever a new pdf appears in the "Print to PDF" folder, the document is added to a Note and then deletes the file in the Finder.

In the end, you'll type Command-P,P and whatever document you are in will be printed to pdf and saved to Notes without leaving a pdf document behind in Finder.
