How to add subs to a youtube video?

Hello,
I want to manually add subs to a youtube video. I downloaded the video from youtube in mp4 format and opened the video with imovie! I managed to add subs on the video but the problem is that they are too small and I don't have the option to put them in 2 lines to make them bigger. Is there a similar program for Mac that can help me add big and readable subs?

There are two-line options for titles in iMovie.

And you can adjust type size with a slider.

Just making sure you have exhausted all iMovie possibilities. 🙂
