Hey,

is there any way to add any vaccinations to Apple Health? Yes, I know I can scan QR codes for COVID vaccinations in 15.4 - but how can I add regular ones? There isn't any way to add them manually - I can just list vaccinations. How can I add anti-rabies inoculation etc.?

As far as I know in the health app > under Browse > health records > immunizations > last updated

Here all the immunizations that your health provers posted to your records appear. Since these are part of your medical records you would have to seek out your provider and have them update your records on their end and then it would be transmitted to the health app.

I can't find a way to add manually. In Canada, there is not a lot of supporting locations for the records.

...and this assumes your provider has an app that can synch with the Health app. I synched mine and everything done through that provider shows up. The problem in the US is that a person can have many many providers and health record holders over the year depending on job changes or even utilizing multiple services to get results.

I’ve successfully added my three Covid vaccinations. Therefore, I‘d like to copy my paper vaccination book to heath. Just to have a digital copy on travels of all my vaccinations just in case. However, this seems to be unsupported.

Notes app can work via the scanner function. Then can encrypt the note for extra layer of protection/privacy. I've got a scan of my COVID card in there.

Ditto if you have a password manager that has a note type object (I have a scan there as well).

Pic/scan on a cloud account. They all advertise as being encrypted at rest, but understand some might have a concern re: security with them on the cloud and services that don't have end-to-end encryption.

I took a picture of mine in Notes and pinned it so I can easily get to the digital image

So yeah, that’s a workaround. But the health app with the vaccination tab should be able to handle all ones, not just the currently hyped Covid ones.

However, thanks for the hint.
I like it the way it is as the Health app is then "official." I know people are okay with images of vax cards to get into a restaurant or other things, but not "real" vax checks like countries, airports, etc. Health app has to have that integrity.

Shouldn't be any problem, currently in 14.5 trusted and validated vaccinations are displayed as these ones. However, no one would try to fake any other vaccinations since there‘s no reason currently.

Polio, regular influenza, etc may be added manually for history documentations. Before Covid, I haven’t looked in my vaccination pass, just found out that I missed several ones. Here we go Health app - remind me! Not for stady staying or remembering me to take a breath.

To get your vaccination records into your Apple wallet or the just into the health so it’s usable when required (authorized)
For USA
Open the Health app and tap the Summary tab. Tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner. Under Features, tap Health Records, then tap Get Started. To add another provider, scroll down to Features, then tap Add Account.Feb 1, 2021
