Hi!

I have a lot of *.chm files and I use chmox to view them.

I also have vmware fusion and by default, it tries to open the the chm files. I want to use chmox to do this however.

So, i RMB on the chm file and choose > open with > other.

I then select chmox from the list and check "always open with".

Now, whenever i double click on THAT chm file, it successfully opens with chmox.

Now the problem is, only that particular chm file opens with chmox. All others still open with vmware fusion. I have hundreds of chm files and i do not want to manually open each and every one of them.

In windows and linux, once you instruct a file type to pen with a particular application, all files of that type open with that application. Is there any way to do this in mac- i.e : making a file type open with a particular application?

Thanks,

Select one of the chm files, Get Info, set app with "Open With", select "Change all"
