My MBP comes with multimedia function enabled on F1, F2.. by default. So I have to press fn+F1 to access F1. This works for me in most cases except when I'm programming in eclipse(a Java programming tool).

I need to use F1 - F12 quite heavily in eclipse. I don't want to press fn+F1 to access them. So I want my Mac to temporarily swap F1-F2 and multimedia function when I'm in eclipse. When I'm using other applications, keep the default multimedia function(so expose & dash board can be easily reached).

Is there a way to get Max OS X to automatically perform this temporary swapping based on the application you use?
