Question -
I'll be picking up my new 27" iMac tomorrow from the Apple Store as well as picking up a new external 1TB HD from MicroCenter. What I wanted to know how can I move EVERYTHING from my old C2D iMac over to my new one? I want everything to be as exact as possible with exception of my new iMac having the latest OS. Is it possible? Is this something that Time Machine can do? I mean I really want everything...all the way down to the short cut icons on my current C2D desktop to be on the desktop of my new machine? Is something like this even possible? Please let me know if you have any advice or suggestions.
