How to backup android phone to my mac?

Hi guys, as it happens, my phone is running out of space.

I want to back it up to my mac. What's a simple (and free if possible) way of doing it?

Android file transfer you can try.
But you'll need to sieve files/data manually.
Of course, it depends on the manufacturer but some devices have native cloud storage.
