iPod touch How to backup apps in itunes 8.2 ?

Hi, I'd like to backup all my apps in itunes 8.2. Kindly let me know how to go about doing this. Thanks a lot!

Launch iTunes, connect your iPod, go to the "Applications" tab, select the checkbox "Sync applications", then click the "Sync" button.
