How to backup HDD to iCloud?

I just upgraded to 200gb of iCloud storage hoping to backup my entire 128gb MBA to it, but cannot find any simple way of doing this..

Is it not possible to have OS X automatically back up to your iCloud Drive just as it would an external hard drive?

Short answer? No. Backup of Macs is not a feature of iCloud Drive. Would it be nice to have an offsite Time Machine? Sure! For now, at least, it's not a feature of either Time Machine or iCloud Drive.

Great well I guess I can just downgrade my storage then :/

Unless there is a third party application that will do it?
