Hi everybody!

I am trying to sync /copy / backup my photos from my iPhone 5 to my PC.

The thing is that I have, in iPhone, a album structure! I have created several photo albums and I would like to keep that folder structure when backing it up.

I noticed two things:

1. It seems that iTunes only copies photos FROM the PC TO the iPhone and NOT the other way round!

2. When copying / importing all photos, using Windows Explorer, the photos are copied completely ignoring the album structure.

What would be the best way to backup / sync / copy photos to PC, keeping the album structure?

Thanks in advance! ;)

Luis

You don't need iTunes to do that. Once your PC recognizes your iPhone it will ask you what you want to do with it. Transfer all photos and videos, or, select the ones you want.
Click on your preferred choice and everything will be copied onto your PC as is on your iPhone.

I really thank and appreciate all the answers, but I think that you missed the full title or the second point:

2. When copying / importing all photos, using Windows Explorer, the photos are copied completely IGNORING the ALBUM STRUCTURE.

This means that your suggestion does not keep album structure defined in iPhone. E.g., I create albums such as CARS\ or HOUSES\ or something like this that the pictures inside them are not necessarily taken within the same dates of places... And that's what a Windows Explorer import will do: group pictures by dates and time. It will not detect my personally created albums.

Thank you.

Well, in the OP only no 1 is displayed. Didn't see no 2 till just now.
And I wondered what happened to the second one -cause you say "I noticed two things"...
