Voice Notes are not backed up to a separate location on iCloud, but are stored as part of your general iOS backup (which, if enabled, takes place automatically while the device is plugged in and connected to WiFi)

You can restore a new iOS device from a backup using the setup prompts.

iTunes also automatically copies your voice memos and adds them to a dedicated playlist. If you wish, you can copy them from iTunes to a storage medium of your choosing.

Great .. Clear and *really* fast response

I have chosen NOT to back up the camera roll and some apps - to save time and space

How do I ensure that I have NOT eliminated voice notes by mistake ?

is there some way to check what is ON iCloud ? like looking at what is stored / backed up

TIA

Unfortunately, there is no way to "view" the contents of an iOS device backup on iCloud. You can see if the backup exists, but not what it contains.

If you can an iPod touch or an iPhone laying around, you can restore that device, and then following the setup prompts, restore from a backup of your main device, then check the "voice memos" application and see if your recordings are there.

Best of luck

I have an iPad

IF I restore the backup to the iPad, will it delete what's on the iPad ? because I have different stuff on the iPad vis a vis what I have on the iPhone

I purchased quickvoice pro and it has a section where you can send the voice files to "iCloud Drive" but when i look at my iCloud Drive it says it's empty.

I've already deleted all the files off the quickvoice program because i thought i was accessible from icloud drive. How can i get these files?

thanks.
