Hi all, I have on my IPad many applications that I share with my kids. They use the game part and I use the professional part but also have in my ebook reader some books that they are too young for. Is there an apllication that can block access to certain applications with a password? there are plenty of apps like that for Max OS, so I suspect there will also be some for the IPad ?
I have 3 different ereaders on my IPad (the apple one, the Kindle and another called Bluereader) and would like to block all of these.
Thanks

Hi. I don't use the kindle or bluereader app you mentioned, so I can't help you there. I don't think ibooks (the apple one) has this feature.

If you really want password protection, try Goodreader. You can password protect specific folders, so just put all the books you want to protect in that folder. But Goodreader doesn't do epubs, only pdfs.

i have definitely seen a jailbroken app to password protect any app. Unfortunately i don't remember the name and i'm not sure if you're up for jailbreaking

locktopus is the app if you're jailbroken, works a treat. You set the ,main password in settings, then just hold down an app so they jiggle, then there is a lock icon on each app, tap that and it requires a password from then on.
