How to bring back the ^⌥⌘⏏ functionality to shut down the MBP Sonoma?

Hi,

My sister recently bought an A2918 MacBookPro. I'm frequently having to shut it down.
When I simultaneously press the ^⌥⌘⏏ buttons to shut it down (some empty non-labelled button replaced by ⏏ I'm pressing that button) it just logs out; doesn't shut down. How to bring that functionality back?

Was it too hard a question or was it me using symbols instead of control+option+command+eject buttons?
