AirPods Pro sport an all-new in-ear design with three sizes of soft, flexible silicone tips included in the box, including small, medium, and large. Apple does not sell the ear tips directly, but if you happen to lose them, replacements are available for $3.95 per pair through the company's support channels.

There are multiple ways to obtain replacement AirPods Pro ear tips, including ordering them online, contacting Apple by phone or online chat, or booking an appointment with a Genius Bar at an Apple Store:
  1. Navigate to getsupport.apple.com.
  2. Select AirPods.
  3. Select Lost or Missing AirPods.
  4. Select Replace your AirPods Pro ear tips.
  5. Choose from one of four options: Order Replacements for online ordering, Chat for online chat, Talk to Apple Support Now for a phone call, or Make an Appointment at a Store for a Genius Bar appointment.
If you choose the Order Replacements option, you will be prompted to enter your Apple ID email address and password and complete two-factor authentication if necessary. Then you will be presented with a list of your Apple products. If your AirPods Pro are not shown, enter their serial number at the bottom of the page and select Continue. On the next page, select a size of ear tips, and hit Continue once more. The total cost comes to $3.95 plus tax per pair, including shipping, with payment collected online.


If you choose the Chat option, you will be prompted to enter your first name, last name, and email address. You will then join an online chat with an Apple support specialist who can assist you with obtaining replacement AirPods Pro ear tips.

If you choose the Talk to Apple Support Now option, you will be prompted to enter your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. Within a few minutes, you should receive a phone call from an Apple support specialist who can assist you with obtaining replacement AirPods Pro ear tips.

If you choose the Make an Appointment at a Store option, you will be prompted to enter your Apple ID email address and password and complete two-factor authentication if necessary. After entering your location, select an Apple Store from the list and confirm an appointment time. Apple requests bringing a valid government-issued photo ID to your appointment for verification.

Apple says replacement AirPods Pro ear tips take 3-5 business days to arrive. If you need them sooner, opt for a Genius Bar appointment. The replacement tips only come in the one size you select, so choose carefully.

Pricing and replacement methods vary outside of the United States.

I think I’m going to order a set to have, just in case. For $4, it’s reasonable to keep backups.


Edit: well, shoot, ordering online is not an option. Very strange, I’m in SoCal, and can’t think of a reason they wouldn’t ship to me. I might grab a set next time I’m at the mall.

Do they have an XL option? Even the large eartips aren’t staying in. Looks like I might be returning my AirPods Pro. Sad

I’ll bet you could get 3rd party earbud tips to work. Google “silicone earbud tips” for a host of options. Might not be perfect but you’ll probably find something that works. Wait a couple of weeks and you might even find an aftermarket product made specifically for APPs.

But those cheap knock-offs won't be made of the same finest silicon material imported from the caves of Kuala Lumpur and hand molded by fine artisans in Milan as the Apple originals.

Seriously though, that's a good idea.

This is really convoluted for Apple, you would think they would want to make this simpler and straightforward
I thought that’s a set of pretty easy options. You should see the service path to even get this answered from other companies. I have a pair of AKG in-ears and the process of even finding out how to get replacement ear tips was frustrating.

Seriously though, that's a good idea.
Careful though, it can be very annoying if these rubber tips somehow get stuck in the ear canal due to poor fit on the headphones. Happens to me occasionally with some brands.

I just got off a 22 minute call with Apple Support (in Australia, if it matters - that's where they route calls in English, from Japan) ... I started the call from the Apple Support app ... the guy wanted to know my serial number (which they already have because I got AppleCare+ - also using this method - a week ago) and then wanted to know what device the AirPods Pro were paired to (at the moment?! Lol) ... 22 minutes later and he said he'd have to call me back because he couldn't figure out how to place the order. :rolleyes:

Oh no, sounds like you need to give them a few weeks to realize a new product is out there. Sorry to hear this crap is pulled of on you in 2019.

Same in Norway. No sending of eartips, and the only support chain with shops wants 10$!!! But you have to drive some hours to the next store. Unbelievable.
