Last night I jailbroke my 3.1.2 3GS via Blackra1n. Today I was installing some Cydia apps and saw a "Make my life easier" button and "No I hate Jailbreaking" or something like that. I accidently clicked Yes (my finger slipped when watching the Super Bowl).

Now it says TSS request pending. Can I cancel this?

Do you know what it is or does?
Why do you want to cancell it?

I read up on it after I noticed I clicked it.
I do know what it is. It basically lets your iPhone think its talking to Apple when restoring so you can jailbreak, etc.

I just don't know if personal info will be sent to his servers too.

I guess I didnt need it anyways:

    Yes, thats what it does.
It could allow you in the future to downgrade to firmware that Apple wouldnt allow you to any longer.
I dont think you have any privacy issues to worry about.

Got another question. Now that the SHSH won't be stored due to Apple discontinuing 3.1.2, and now my Cydia keeps saying "TSS request pending......" - my question is: does Cydia keep trying to connect to Saurik's server and if so will a "connection" constantly on, which will drain my battery?

    Thx!

The TSS request is entirely server-side. Nothing further will happen on your phone. Saurik's server now has your phone's ECID (which it had already...it's how Cydia tells your phone apart from anyone else's). He has no other personal information. As soon as it makes sense to have it on file, Saurik will have the server request signature info for 3.1.3, and then the message will change from TSS pending to "This device has SHSHs on file..."

There is absolutely no reason at all in this or any other world why you would not want your signature information on file with Saurik. It could someday save your jailbreak/unlock, and there is just no downside.

Finally, signature requests contain no personal information. And even if they did, I would trust Saurik with my information before I'd trust Apple. Besides, if Saurik wanted to steal your personal info, he wouldn't be telling you about it and asking your permission!
