Hi,

since I upgraded to the latest Yosemite, when I connect my cameras, Photos automatically starts and not (as it was before) Image Capture. How can I change this to be Image Capture again? I don't like and don't need the Photos app.

Thanks

Go to this pane in iPhoto prefs and set it to what you want.

Open Image Capture, plug your phone into your computer, and click on your phone to highlight it.

In the lower left part of the window it will show your phone along with a dropbox to where you can set the action on what opens when the phone is plugged in.

Thanks. That did it!

The dialog was hidden and clicking on a very tiny button did bring the option up. It's very easy to miss this button....
