I like to change the names of some of my apps on springboard. I changed the ifile icon to the finder icon and would like to change the label to finder as well. I tried doing that in the same manner that I do to some other apps (icab etc) by changing the name in the info.plist file however in this case that didn't work. Does anyone know where I can go to change the display name?

Change display name of ifile

I also need to change the display name of iFile and it's icon. As mentioned The traditional way of editing the display name line in info.plist does not work.

I do NOT want winter board or SBS Settings or any other Cydia Tweak. I know this can be accomplished using an edit with iFile. I have been trying so much but can't get it!

@new deal- did you figure this out? Please share!

If anyone knows please post. Thank you so much in advance.

I don't know if you guys figured it out but just in case, you have to edit infoplist.strings in the en.lproj folder (for English... Edit the relevant folder for your language).

Have fun :)
